Susan from Supa Siamese based in Italy along with friends, Annika Larsson and Isabella Lenoci organised and attended the Orvieto show in Italy and did some excellent show reporting for Siamese Planet. Susan said of the weekend:

Saturday 17 September and Sunday 18 September saw the first and second international cat shows in Orvieto, one of the most beautiful and unique towns in the world, in central Italy. More than 425 cats were entered during the 2 days with Siamese and Orientals reaching an almost record number (for Italy) 39 cats! We also saw the debut of one of the first Seychellois (Siamese with white) Tati's Irina Tornadovna in Italy, only on exhibition as recognition will only be official from January 1, 2006.

The judges for Category 4 (Siamese and Orientals) were Stephe Bruin (Netherlands), Eva Wieland-Schilla (Switzerland) and Gianfranco Mantovani (Italy).

We gave special prizes for the oldest cat (a 10 year old Russian Blue) and the youngest kitten (4 actually, from 2 litters) a couple of bicolour Exotics and a couple of Orientals, a lilac tabby spotted and a cream tabby spotted. Also special prizes to the exhibitors from furthest away (Canary Islands and Greece) and a lucky dip prize for two days at the Umbria Jazz Winter festival in Orvieto over New Year.
